12/5/2022 Good redfish bite this morning,
trout bite was a bit slow.

12/3/2022 Fogged in early until around noon, then the fish started eating, redfish were a nuisance!

12/1/2022 - Got them their keeper limit and released a lot of 16, almost 17, inch trout. The weather was raw, the wind was not that bad this morning. These customers came up mid-day.

11/29/2022 - Today’s catch, limits of reds plus many more, limits of specs 17-19 inches but hard to come by. All the sound trout and Gulf trout you could want and we released under 17 inches all day, this was all prefrontal and southeast wind.

in Matagorda, wind southwest at 20mph

and muddy. Had to settle for red-fishing today

East Matagorda Bay, all fish caught on Bass Assassins

11/3/2022 A croaker 19 1/2" long caught on a roach paddle tail bass assassin. Along with a great day on the water.

11/2/2022 Bob Muellar with one of several reds caught today along with 7 keeper trout in the Colorado River. All fish caught on “Bass Assassins”.

4/28/2022 Went to west Matagorda wading, redfish saved the day again. All fish caught on Bass Assassins.

3/28/2022 Good morning on upper slot reds wading west Matagorda bay. All fish caught on bass assassin paddle tails. Tides are still low. They had a good time!

3/26/2022 Good box of reds drifting east Matagorda bay today. Bite was from 10:30 to 1pm, all fish caught on Berkley gulp. Watercolor marginal, tides low, high pressure.

3/16/2022 This spring breaker wore
herself out on redfish this afternoon.
